How do we handle insurance?
We work with most insurance companies. Once you open a new claim for windshield repair or replacement, you have the option to choose any shop you want to complete the work. All you need to do is request that Grainger's Auto Glass be assigned the job and your insurance company will email us over the documents we need to proceed to graingersglass@gmail.com
Once we get the referral from your insurance company's glass claims department, we will order the glass and contact you to arrange for a convenient time and place to complete the job.
If you request Factory Glass (OEM) or have a vehicle equipped with a Safety System that has a camera which may need to be re-calibrated by a Certified Technician, we will work with your insurance company to get the parts approved and try to get the full cost of the re-calibration included so that you do not incur any costs above your deductible.
You will only pay your deductible and any balance of the re-calibration costs (if applic) once the work has been completed and we will take care of billing your insurance for the remainder.
Some tips on deductibles
Comprehensive Coverage designed to pay for the repair or replacement of the policy owner's car in the event of damage not resulting from an accident.
If you have Comprehensive Coverage through your insurance, you may be able to have a smaller deductible than you have on your Collision Coverage with little impact to your premium. Call your agent for options.
